Green Wheat Hay offers a unique crunch with its long, green stalks and abundant immature seed heads, harvested before the crop fully ripens and seeds form to retain their vibrant colour and nutrients. This hay is an excellent addition to your pet’s diet, providing variety and promoting digestive and dental health.
Topped with our new & improved Superfood hay topper, this blend has been carefully developed with the help of our in-house vet, Dr Lucy Robson, to deliver even more nutritional benefit in every handful.
A diverse mix of Dandelion Leaves, Apple Leaves, Nettle Leaves, Echinacea Flowers and Stems, Parsley Stalks, Marigold Flowers, Rose Petals, Chamomile Flowers, Hibiscus Flowers, Milk Thistle and Dandelion Roots, provides a wide spectrum of nutrients. Scattered throughout the hay, it encourages natural foraging behaviours while supporting overall wellbeing, helping to keep mealtimes both enriching and nourishing.

Our Green Wheat Hay has a similar protein, fibre, and calcium content to some of our other grasses, such as Timothy and Oat. It can be enjoyed by all small pets and should be made available to them all day.
The addition of the Superfood hay topper not only adds interest to their regular hay but can aid small animals’ immune systems, ensuring their health is in top condition.

What Makes the Hay Shed So Good?
Barn dried
Our state-of-the-art drying system allows us to control the hay moisture content and drying process. This allows us to remove the moisture while retaining the vital nutrients, sweet taste and green colour.

Your fluffy friends have delicate respiratory systems which can be harmed easily by dust, so we make sure to remove it from our hay through a mechanical packing system before it is sent direct to your door.
Muesli-free
Did you know muesli can cause issues for those little teeth and tummies? Rest assured that you will find no muesli in our products.
Eco-friendly packaging

We grow, mow, dry and pack our hay on our farm located in Northumberland. We take great pride in controlling every stage of production to ensure our hay is of the best quality.
