To apply for our rescue centre store credit scheme, please email us at hello@thehayshed.co.uk with your rescue centre/charity name, charity number (if applicable), RWAF and Ethical Rescue Status (if applicable), email address, postal address, website and social media handles.

When applying we ask that you provide the following information:

Once you have contacted us and provided the relevant information, our team will aim to respond within 7-10 working days to let you know if your application has been approved.

If successful, we will then send you a unique referral link and code which you can share with your supporters. They can use the link or input the code at checkout every time they place an order with us.

Once an order has been placed using your code, your store credit will be made available to you within 48 hours of the order. The store credit will automatically appear in your Hay Shed account for you to use.

For each code or referral used, we donate 8% of the order value as store credit.

The more your supporters use your code or unique referral link, the more store credit you will earn. So promoting it to your supporters and followers is important.

Here’ some suggestions of ways to promote your code/referral link are:

• Share the referral link and code on your website (if you have one).
• Share the referral link and code on your social media platforms.
• Add it to your newsletters
• Add the code to a poster in your rescue centre.
• Add the code to leaflets that you give out to those adopting or your supporters.

Your store credit will automatically become available to use within one day of your code being used.

To use the store credit you have accumulated, log in to your hay shed account using the email you used to register for the rescue centre scheme.

You can then select the products you would like and proceed to checkout. When checking out, select ‘Use Account Funds’ to use your store credit.

If you do not have enough credit for the items you require, you can pay the difference at checkout.

Alternatively, if your order value is less than the store credit available, the remaining store credit will stay in your account for the next time you need to get more hay.

You can view the store credit in your customer account on our website, under the ‘charity dashboard’ tab. Please ensure you are logged in with the email address that you used to register for the Store Credit Scheme.

There are no restrictions on what you can buy with the store credit. All of the products in our store can be purchased using the store credit. We trust you will use the store credit wisely to feed the small animals in your care.
